The kind of tea that became very famous in China and Japan for Centuries is green tea and there has been a recent immense popularity boom in the West. Its popularity is well associated in numerous ways to that of alternative health movement that consider green tea to have natural curative abilities and properties to combat illnesses. There has been a documented certainty for them that points back at the early times even thought the claims have not been confirmed.

There are some teas that are manufactured outside China and Japan but they are said to be not the original thing and they’re not worth buying except some Indian teas. A participant in the tea ceremony must have an idea of how it entirely works which means that few people who are non-Japanese have only done this. Tea in Chinese culture holds an interesting role as well. Tea-making has always been utilized as means of expressing sentiments non-verbally such as thank you or sorry. People from the Western areas will be able to take part in the Eastern culture and tradition by simply grabbing a cup of fresh green tea.

Along with the health advantages that it can offer, drinking green tea can be used as a manner of socialization, thus exchanging ideas to those people with different traditions.
